Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the planning and execution of a Greenfield project for a solid-state fermentation manufacturing facility in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai. This role demands strong project leadership, coordination with management, and engagement with stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industrial, GMP, and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from design to commissioning, and provide engineering support during production.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Obtain and maintain necessary permits from local bodies (GIDC, GPCB) during all project phases.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans and execute design standards per global industry norms.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to monitor project progress.
  • Technical Specifications: Prepare and manage detailed technical specifications and drawings.
  • Detail Engineering: Oversee engineering aspects, including mechanical piping, equipment, civil structure, electrical, and instrumentation.
  • Documentation: Finalize URS, DQ, IQ, and OQ in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure comprehensive adherence to HSE standards throughout the project.
  • GMP Compliance: Maintain familiarity with GMP standards and other regulatory guidelines.
